Children are Wise and Fun

So...for those of you who know me...who know my family...you may not be shocked to learn that my children spontaneously created a stage out of the fireplace, grabbed their brushes (except for when there were hand motions required and I convinced them that there were pretend microphones on their collars) for makeshift microphones and made me announce their entrance so they could come in and perform for Jamie, Jack and me.

I did make them re-sing this first song...but really, it was otherwise all their doing.

If you are anxious about the election today...whomever you voted for...just listen to these words and be encouraged. (I am however, so very sad that this was captured with Porter in her Sponge Bob sleep shirt...a show they have never watched in our house. Oh well....)
