The Way Ministries

I am so pumped! My dear friends Brandi and Shane Kyles have started a new ministry that meets the practical needs of people in the Auburn/Opelika area. It's called The Way Ministries, and they are leading volunteers to share the love of Jesus in practical ways. It just makes sense!

Shane has been working for the City of Opelika and Brandi is home schooling their two children and helping Shane get the ministry running. She also has a big hand in the after school ministry they lead.

To show people in our community THE WAY by sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways. "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

To be God's hands and feet in our community so Christ is glorified! "With God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

Show the love of Jesus by helping people meet physical and spiritual needs. Invest in the lives of others to further God's kingdom. Provide opportunities for others to participate in Home Missions. Equip people to serve.

What they do:
  • Home repairs
  • Yard Work
  • Mentor tomorrow's generation through an after school program
  • Clothing and food assistance
  • Education and job assistance
  • Connect people to area ministries

If you are interested in participating in their ministry or supporting it, contact Shane:

I am so humbled by the many gifts and talents of friends!

that's so cool! i love the idea of being "hands & feet" in such practical ways. you should get the word out to the various campus ministries at Auburn to see if some of the students would be interested in getting involved.
