Yesterday morning was just plain scary. There were severe storm warnings with tornadoes touching down in the NW part of the county. My grandmother (visiting from NW Arkansas) found her spot in the laundry room just in case we needed to take cover. After establishing that we would have to split between the bathroom and laundry room should the need occur, we turned down the weather updates and enjoyed breakfast. By afternoon it was beautiful outside, and Jamie and I headed out for a run/walk in shorts and T-shirts. Then, this morning, we woke up, got ready and headed to church in this:
Stranger things have happened, right?! We came home, layered up as much as folks who live in Auburn, AL (and don't go snow skiing) can considering we haven't seen this kind of snow here in the 8 years we have lived here, and we headed outside. We had a blast!
