So...how do you live up to a day off work and school with fresh snow?! In Alabama it's tough since the snow is typically melting the next day...which would be the case today.
So, we baked, the kids played, I got things going in the crock pot for dinner so I could paint (see http://linesdotsandcurls.blogspot.com/ for a few accomplishments of the day...).
Betsy helped me bake strawberry cupcakes for Sunday School "breakfast" and a chocolate cake for Daddy's Valentine's Day present:
The girls were creative with some very special dominoes, (I learned to count, add and subtract sitting on my Pawpaw's lap with these dominoes.) and they built a church:
