Jack's First Auburn Football Game

It was perfect: a cool fall morning.... midday game (just meant an extra layer of sunblock)...Auburn playing a team that we were all but guaranteed to beat and many fans were taking that as a sign to stay home. It was a perfect game for kids! The girls are veterans, but we had yet to brave taking Jack to a football game, so October 2, Auburn vs University of Louisiana-Monroe, was Jack's Day!

The entire week leading up to the game, Jack did nothing but talk about going in the stadium to see Aubie, the football players, the eagle fly around the stadium and Uncle Ryan and sing "War Eagle" and cheer...over and over...and over again! He was SO excited. The girls had spent the night with Aunt Sarah so we loaded him up on his own which gave him some extra camera time...here is Jack's Game Day:

And some pictures too...

The girls went with Aunt Sarah (coach's wives get perks!)

The boys went to sit in the faculty/staff ghetto seats (kidding)

Fun with Aunt Sarah

And at the end of the day...

 Going....going...

Gone!

So fun! I loved watching the video, because it's been a long time since I made it to the stadium early enough to see all the fanfare! Fun times :)
