Praying over Jack

Well...we prayed over Jack today before taking him to school. He kept pulling at his shirt, and we were afraid that it might be burning his skin or something. But it's lunch now, and daycare hasn't called to let us know he's breaking out in hives. So, we think he'll be okay for the day. We'll get him back in orange and blue tomorrow...you know, God's preferred colors! hee hee For those of you wondering if this Auburn family has gone daft over night...let me explain. My cousin Madison attends USC's competitive Cinema and Television Production program. His sister, Meredith, and my Aunt Jan ALSO moved out to CA to pursue life and dreams. So, in support of their living in the state most likely to secede from the Union via earthquake...I post this picture. Good thing Jack makes anything look good!

Here are those lovable, crazy folks:

We couldn't leave the house without taking a picture of Betsy's self-selected outfit...such a smart girl: Ahhh...and the skies are blue again, the sun is shining, life is as it should be....

I love you Ainley's...good thing Auburn (or any other SEC teams) isn't playing USC this year or I'm afraid Jamie would not have been able to allow today to happen. Smiles and hugs to you!

My sweet wife did not fully summarize just how difficult it was to put Jack in that jersey. My disdain for the "Barbie Fun-House conference" (Pac-10 as ESPN calls them) runs deep. No defense, no conference championship game, no way do they ever have to prove themselves to anyone (sorry, Ryan, I still love you). That conference's weakness is overshadowed only the adoration that the media blindly showers on them. Kind of like what CNN does to Barack...no real substance, but he sure is pretty!

(I will hold back on blasting the Big 10 this time around).

But, alas, out of love for the Ainley family we let it go. However, I am secretly hoping that Jack soils the shirt just like a diaper.

I agree 100% with your assessment of the Barbie Fun House Conference!

And I'll choose not comment on the assessment of Barack. ;)

I hope things are well! I love reading the blog and seeing pictures of your beautiful children! War Eagle.

Hey Guys,
Went by Milestone during lunch today and Jack was still holding his feet! I think he's scared someone might steal them if he lets go! :)
